Desegregation of Delaware
The collection consists of reports, articles, and other papers related to desegregation which were collected as resource files by Abigail Covelli. Delaware started a desegregation project in the public school system in the mid 1970s, and the bulk of the collection relates to this project. Included are desegregation proposals, demographic information, advisory literature, workshop information, and studies and reports on the progress and results of desegregation. The main focus is on New Castle County and Wilmington city schools.
