Voices of 1968 Oral History
Voices of 1968 is an oral history collection focused on Delawareans to capture local stories of that pivotal year in American history. Interviews were conducted by Library staff and other project volunteers. The topics covered in the interviews include University of Delaware campus politics, reactions to Martin Luther King, Jr.'s assassination, the National Guard occupation of Wilmington, Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), student and alternative newspapers in Newark, and daily life during the late 1960s. Oral histories in this collection may have transcripts available in the University's institutional repository. If so, links are provided in the item record.
Items in this collection are presented for their historic and research value. We note that viewers may find some content objectionable.
