W. Barksdale Maynard Photographs
The W. Barksdale Maynard photographs of Delaware collection contains color slides and digital images of numerous buildings, signs, structures, and locations throughout the state, primarily documenting Delaware's architectural history. The collection is arranged into three series, one each for Delaware's three counties: Series I. New Castle County, Series II. Kent County, and Series III. Sussex County. Within each series, images are sorted by the town or geographic area where the images were taken. For areas that cross county lines, such as Smyrna, Delaware, the location information provided was used to determine in which county, and therefore which series, each image belongs. Image titles and descriptions were provided by the donor.
